Chasing the Unseen is Risky

Do things happen just because you know they are happening? Do things exist just because you know they exist?

When you start asking questions about the supernatural world you are taking a risk.

You don’t know where your chase will lead.

You can research. You can find facts. You can listen and try to understand what other people believe and where they are coming from.

But in the end, you have to follow the path where your chase leads you. Not where their chase leads them.

But sometimes we don’t know exactly where our chase will lead us, and that can be scary. It can makes us try to forget the chase. Stop the chase. Chase something known and safe. Chasing the unseen is very risky.

You could be on a wild goose chase.

You hope you are not on a wild goose chase. You don’t want to be on a wild goose chase. And if you are on a wild goose chase, you sure hope you figure that out before you waste too much of your time or buy-in. That is scary. It can be unnerving. What if you find out that what you believe or what everyone else around you believes is something completely different than what you trusted all along?

Your chase might shock & shake you.

What you discover on your chase might shake you to the core. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, if you are on the chase, you will be shocked and you will be shaken. It comes with the territory. That’s a risk you have to be willing to take.

It’s risky because you are chasing the unseen. You don’t know where you are going. You don’t know where your chasing will lead you or what you will find out along the way or how it might change you or the course of your life.

Are you willing to take the risk?
